Can my Caller ID show the area code of the contact I'm calling?
This is called Local Area Presence.
In order to use Local Area Presence, you must legally own phone numbers in the corresponding area codes through your phone company. When these numbers are dialed they must be able to connect with you.
If you own a list of phone numbers with multiple area codes, please contact support. We will need a list of all the phone numbers you own and wish to use.
You will also need to set a default phone number. This is required. If you do not own an area code that matches a contact you are calling, you must have a default number chosen to appear on the Caller ID.
Your request will be reviewed by support and set up in your account if you meet the requirements.
